Course in evidence-based practices
In the winter of 2018, Dr. Shaw has an opportunity to teach a course at McGill University entitled Special Topics in School Psychology. The course will be entirely about the nature of evidence-based practices, implementation science, and program evaluation.
The course is designed primarily for students who plan on practicing as school psychologists. However, a great deal of information concerning improving the scholarship and research in school psychology will also be discussed. PowerPoint slides, course guide, mini-lectures, and other thinking about issues in evidence-based practice that promote a scientist practitioner training model in School psychology will be available on this page.
